Article 14 of Regulations of the Parliament accepted by the Law No. 797-XIII of April 2, 1996 (repeated publication: 2007, No. 50, the Art. 237), with subsequent changes to add the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova with part (3) the following content:
"(3) in case of formation of vacancy of position of the Chairman of the parliament in connection with death, resignation, response, and also in situations of incompatibility or impossibility of performance of functions temporary fulfillment of duties is provided with the vice-chairman of Parliament. In case of availability of several vice-chairmen of Parliament temporary fulfillment of duties is provided with the vice-chairman of Parliament appointed by the resolution of Parliament. Temporary fulfillment of duties is performed before election of the new Chairman of the parliament.".
