1.1. This document is developed according to the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About production and household waste" and provisions of the Basel Convention "About Control of Cross-border Transportation of Dangerous Wastes and Their Removal" (further - the Basel Convention) and determines procedure for certification of dangerous wastes.
1.2. The passport (the approximate form is applied) - the document confirming belonging of dangerous wastes to the corresponding type of waste and degree of their danger, providing the information about their structure. In the passport the exact data reflecting quality characteristics of dangerous wastes, including quantity of their main and additional components as a percentage and physical and chemical properties are specified.
1.3. When transporting dangerous wastes the passport copy as one of the main transport documents shall accompany each batch, packaging, each container and other means of transportation of dangerous wastes.
