About breeding case in livestock production

This Law determines legal and organizational basis of breeding case in livestock production (further – breeding case) and is directed to creation of conditions for obtaining and use of high-quality breeding products (material).
In this Law the following main terms and their determinations are used:
approbation – determination of compliance of complete group of animals of one type to requirements who allow to establish their belonging to certain new breed, type, the line, cross-country of animals;
reproduction – regulated natural or artificial process of reproduction of animals;
high-valuable animal – breeding animal whose breeding (genetic) value exceeds average population values of signs of breed (productivity, viability, reproductive and other signs);
genetic anomaly – the caused genetic variation from breed regulations which is not doing harm to organism of animal and not exerting negative impact on its productivity is heritable;
genetically determined disease – is heritable the caused disease caused by changes of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) leading to development of pathological processes in organism of posterity and undesirable from the point of view of health of population;
genetic potential – complex of the heritable signs capable to be shown at animal in certain favorable conditions for content and feeding;
the genetic certificate – the document of the established form issued on breeding products (material) by results of molecular genetic examination and confirming reliability of its origin, absence at animal of genetic anomalies and genetically determined diseases;
genofondny (small) breed – group of seldom meeting animals of certain type, breed, cross-country, population which are differing in the genetic features useful to the selection purposes and being under the threat of disappearance;
