About additional measures for enhancement of system of providing comprehensive schools with textbooks
In recent years within implementation of the National program of training and the State national development program of school education for 2004-2009 in the republic the state educational standards, curricula and programs of general secondary education according to which the new, meeting the modern requirements textbooks and methodologies are published are considerably enhanced.
Purposeful work on social support of pupils of comprehensive schools is carried out. The system of providing on free basis by textbooks and other student's accessories of first graders, pupils of houses of Mekhribonlik, boarding schools and specialized schools, and also children from needy families is implemented. According to the procedure of experiment the system of providing pupils with textbooks on rent basis takes root.
At the same time, the mechanism of implementation of textbooks taking into account complete satisfaction of demand of the population on them by the organization of harmonious system of retail trade for all territory of the republic and expansion of involvement in process of forming of orders for their edition of the pedagogical public and parents of pupils requires enhancement.
For the purpose of further development of system of providing comprehensive schools with textbooks of pupils, enhancement of the mechanism of forming of orders for their edition and rent system, and also organization of extensive retail network of implementation of textbooks:
1. Approve the offer of the Ministry of national education of the Republic of Uzbekistan on implementation, since 2006-2007 academic years, the new mechanism of portfolio construction of orders for the edition of textbooks and methodologies for comprehensive schools in case of which annual forecast quotas for production and implementation of textbooks and methodologies are determined as a result of annually held specialized book trade fairs with participation of the pedagogical public and parents of pupils, and also carrying out inventory count of library stocks of comprehensive schools.
