About cooperation concerning trade between the Eurasian economic commission and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine

The Eurasian economic commission and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine which are hereinafter referred to as by the Parties

recognizing importance of further expansion of trade between state members of the Customs union and the Common economic space (further - state members of TS and EEP) and Ukraine,

noting availability of potential of state members of TS and EEP and Ukraine for growth in volumes and simplification of procedures of mutual trade, expansion of investment cooperation, and also mutual intention to perform closer trade and economic collaboration,

adhering to the principles of equality, predictability and transparency in questions of mutual trade,

reached the agreement as follows:

1. Purposes

The purposes of this Memorandum are strengthening of cooperation between state members of TS and EEP and Ukraine and increase in its effectiveness, the analysis of problems of mutual trade and search of mutually acceptable ways of their decision.

2. Spheres of cooperation

The parties intend to perform cooperation within the competence in the following directions:

exchange of information about the measures exerting impact on trade;

studying of opportunities of increase in transparency of the existing administrative and regulating systems relating to trade;

experience exchange for the purpose of increase in predictability of the regulating circle in the field of trade;

assessment of effects of the measures of regulation of trade in goods operating and planned to application;

the organization of consultations for specific problematic issues and search of ways of their mutually acceptable decision within the mechanism, the stipulated in Item 3 presents of the Memorandum, without damage to the rights of the Parties to use the existing or future mechanisms on dispute settlement;

exchange of statistical data about dynamics of trade and investment flows between state members of TS and EEP and Ukraine;
