About measures for enhancement of the organization of works on improvement of settlements of the Republic

In recent years large-scale measures for forming of modern look of the cities and settlements of the republic, reconstruction and upgrade of road and transport and engineering and communication infrastructure for the purpose of their reduction in compliance with modern town-planning regulations and requirements are taken.

Improvement of the cities, the regional and district centers, city settlements and rural settlements, including due to strengthening of material and technical resources of managements of improvement, equipment of their modern special transport and means of mechanization is cardinally improved. Number of measures for enhancement of the legislation in this sphere is accepted.

Together with it, in the cities and areas of the republic there is no single approach in the organization of activities of divisions for improvement which function in different forms of business with different management structures. As a result efficiency of the organization of works on improvement of settlements decreases.

For the purpose of further enhancement of the organization and management of works on improvement of the cities and areas of the republic, and also expense optimization of the local budgets Cabinet of Ministers decides:

1. Agree with offers of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of areas and the city of Tashkent on reorganization operating in the cities and areas of the republic of the organizations (divisions) for improvement and creation on their base of managements of improvement.

2. Determine the main objectives of managements of improvement of the cities and areas timely and high-quality performance of works by content and operation of subjects to improvement according to town-planning and sanitary standards and rules, including:

gardening of streets, squares, boulevards, memorial complexes and other green zones public, holding agrotechnical actions for content (care) of green plantings, fight against their wreckers and diseases;
