About cooperation in the field of health care

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties
in view of the aspiration to support and develop traditional ties in the field of health care and medicine,
considering interest of both Parties in mutually beneficial and equal cooperation on long-term and stable basis, agreed as follows:
The parties develop cooperation in the solution of priority tasks of national programs in the field of protection and strengthening of health of the population of the states.
The parties promote extension of contacts with the organizations of health care, bodies of health care (further - the cooperating organizations) according to the legislations existing in the territories of the states of the Parties.
The parties exchange experience and develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the following fields of health care:
- rendering primary and specialized, and also stationary medical care to the population;
- implementation of the state supervision of public health,
- strengthening of health of the population and prevention;
- organization of provision of medicines;
- exchange of information on achievements in the field of medical sciences;
- medical statistics;
- prevention and liquidation of medical and sanitary effects of emergency situations.
The relations between the cooperating organizations it is performed within this agreement on the basis of direct agreements (contracts) according to the legislations existing in the territories of the states of the Parties.
