About approval of rules of change of record about nationality of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in passports, identity certificates and acts of civil status
Due to the adoption of law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of July 26, 1992. "About amendment of article 63 of the Code about scrap and family of the Kazakh SSR" the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan decides:
1. Approve the enclosed Rules of change of record about nationality of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in passports, identity certificates and acts of civil status.
2. Determine that change of record about nationality in passports and identity certificates of citizens is made according to their written application once by law-enforcement bodies based on the certificate of birth and other documents confirming justification of the petition.
Change of record about nationality in acts of civil status is made by bodies of the REGISTRY OFFICE based on the petition from the citizen after submission of necessary documents.
2-1. Permit to change by way of exception records about nationality in passports, identity certificates and acts of civil status of the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who are violently moved during repressions on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan based on the certificates of rehabilitation issued according to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of April 14, 1993 "About recovery of victims of mass political repressions".
3. To the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan to bring into accord with this resolution the existing departmental acts.
