Regulations on the diplomatic passport of the Republic of Kazakhstan

1. The diplomatic passport of the Republic of Kazakhstan (further the diplomatic passport) is the identity document of the citizen of Kazakhstan in case of its departure, accommodation outside the Republic of Kazakhstan for execution of the service duties assigned to it and in case of its entry into the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. The diplomatic passport is property of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. The diplomatic passport, on condition of its proper registration, is valid for departure from the Republic of Kazakhstan to all states of the world.

4. The diplomatic passport is issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, according to the corresponding list of officials of the Republic of Kazakhstan to which such passport is issued.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has the right in exceptional cases to issue the diplomatic passport to persons which are not specified in the list.
