About hydrocarbon gas and gas supply
This Law determines legal, economic and organizational basis of the relations in the gas sphere and gas supply in Turkmenistan and is directed to creation of conditions for effective functioning of the market of gas, reliable and safe operation of objects of gas supply systems.
In this Law the following basic concepts are used:
1) autogas-filling compressor station – the technological complex intended for compression, storage and realization of the compressed natural gas for the purpose of use as motor fuel;
2) gas supply – one of power supply forms representing activities for providing consumers with gas, including for production, transportation, storage and supply of gas;
3) gas supply system – the property industrial complex consisting from technologically, organizationally and economically interconnected and on a centralized basis the managed production and other facilities intended for production, transportation, storage and supply of gas;
4) the gas supplying organization (company) – the state legal entity performing gas supply to consumers under agreements;
5) gas-distribution system – the property industrial complex consisting from technologically, organizationally and economically interconnected objects intended for transportation and supply of commodity gas from trunk gas pipeline to gas-consuming systems;
6) gas transmission company – the state legal entity rendering transportation services of commodity gas on gas pipelines from Item of its acceptance to delivery Item to the consumer, technological storage or transfer (transfer) on other mode of transport;
7) the conservation zone of objects of gas supply system – the territory adjacent to gas supply system objects necessary for ensuring its safe operation. In the conservation zone of objects gas supply systems are installed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan special conditions of land use;
