This Law establishes diplomatic ranks for the staff of diplomatic service of Turkmenistan, and also determines the basic principles of assignment, preserving and deprivation of diplomatic ranks.
The diplomatic rank is the special office rank given to the staff of diplomatic service.
Assignment of diplomatic ranks to the staff of diplomatic service is made taking into account qualification, years of service and work experience in the specialty, the term of stay in diplomatic rank and results of office activities.
