About the state protection

This Law determines purpose of the state protection, condition of its provision, the bodies and forces performing and providing the state protection, establishes objects of the state protection, task, obligation and the right of the state body of the executive authority authorized in the field of the state protection (further - authorized state body), and also establishes circle of the subjects exercising control and supervision of its activities.

Chapter 1. General provisions

Article 1. Basic concepts

For the purposes of this Law the following basic concepts are applied:

safety of object of the state protection - security of person which is subject to the state protection from the illegal and other encroachments threatening his life, health and other vital interests protected by the law connected with execution of powers of public service or with other state, political or public work;

the state protection - the function of public authorities in the field of safety of objects of the state protection performed for needs of public administration on the basis of set of legal, organizational, information, security, regime, operational search, technical and other measures;

protection of the protected object - set of actions for protection and defense of the protected object;

information on safety hazard of object of the state protection - data on the conditions and factors creating danger to life and health of person which is subject to the state protection, other its vital interests protected by the law or about possible encroachments of physical, moral or other nature, or drawing to this person and its vital interests of other damage protected by the law;

the place of temporary stay of object of the state protection - other in relation to places of permanent residence and public service (work) residence of object of the state protection;

the permanent residence of object of the state protection - places of permanent residence (the apartment, the dacha) and the place of public service (work) of object of the state protection;
