1.1. The regulations on requirements for implementation of activities of depositary (further - the Provision) according to the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About the security market" and "About joint-stock companies and protection of shareholder rights" determine uniform conditions of implementation of activities of depositary in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

1.2. In this Provision the following concepts are applied:

Central Securities Depository (further - the Central depositary) - the state depositary which provides uniform storage system, accounting of the rights and movement of issued securities on custody accounts in depositaries;

depositary - the legal entity rendering services in storage of securities, accounting and the certificate of the rights to securities;

authorized state body on regulation of the security market (further - authorized state body) - the Center for coordination and market development of securities in case of Goskomkonkurention of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

the owner of security - legal entity or physical person to which securities belong on the property right or other corporeal right;

depository operations (account transaction of depot) - the operations performed by depositaries in accounting registers according to standards of depository operations;

documentary securities - the securities issued in the form of forms;

outgoing documents of depositary - the documents provided by depositary on requests of clients or authorized state bodies;

depositary accounting - the accounting of securities performed by depositary in case of accomplishment of activities of depositary.
