About procedure for movement of drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors on customs area of the Customs union

The Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

based on the Agreement on the Eurasian economic commission of November 18, 2011, the Agreement on creation of single customs area and forming of the Customs union of October 6, 2007,

wishing to promote development of commercial intercourses,

aiming to create favorable conditions for effective functioning of single customs area of the Customs union and the Common economic space,

confirming the commitment to the principles of accomplishment of the international obligations provided by the Single convention on drugs of March 30, 1961, the Convention on psychotropic substances of February 21, 1971, the Convention of the United Nations on fight against illicit trafficking in drugs and psychotropic substances of December 20, 1988

proceeding from need of ensuring accomplishment of national interests and obligations of the Parties,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purposes of this agreement the following terms are used:

"drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors" - the drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors included in national lists of the Parties;

"movement" import (export) of drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors from the territory of one Party on the territory of other Party;

"transportation (internal transit)" - import (export) of drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors from the territory of one Party on the territory of other Party through the territory of the third party, and also import (export) of drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors from one part of the territory of the Party on other its part through the territory of other Party;
