Coverage

3. This Standard shall be applied by business entities to financial accounting and disclosure of information on financial investments.

4. The business entity records financial investments according to the procedure stated in Items 7-28 of this Standard, the including following questions:

4.1. Classification of financial investments by categories (short-term and long-term);

4.2. Cost determination (financial investments and their reflection in financial statements;

4.3. Transfer of financial investments from one category in another;

4.4. Irreversible reduction in cost of financial investments.

5. This standard does not consider:

5.1. Bases of recognition of the income in form of the percent, royalty, dividends and the rent received on investments (see NSBU "Income from General Economy Activities", and NSBU "Leasing Accounting");

5.2. Investments into subsidiaries (see NSBU "Consolidated Financial Statements and Accounting of Investments into Subsidiaries");
