About modification and amendments in the Education law No. 547-XIII of July 21, 1995
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. - In the Education law No. 547-XIII of July 21, 1995 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1995, Art. No. 62-63, 692), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes and additions:
1. In part (4) Article 26 of the word "two cycles:" shall be replaced with words "three cycles:", and at the end to add part with the paragraph of the following content:
"III cycle - the higher education on receipt of degree of the doctor.".
2. Recognize Article 29 invalid.
3. State Article 30 in the following edition:
"Article 30. The higher education on receipt of degree of the doctor
(1) Programs of the higher education on receipt of degree of the doctor will be organized at doctor's schools and are financed by means of specific mechanisms. Doctor's schools will be organized as a part of higher educational institutions, the research and innovative organizations, and also within the national and international consortiums or partnership.
(2) Doctor's schools - the organizational and administrative structures created by the organizations organizing programs of the higher education on receipt of degree of the doctor in any area on disciplinary or cross-disciplinary subject.
(3) Doctor's schools dispose of the budget selected for programs of the higher education on receipt of degree of the doctor and periodically pass external assessment for the purpose of quality assurance according to requirements of the law. The financial resources allocated for programs of doctoral studies cannot be used in other purposes.
(4) to the Program of the higher education on receipt of degree of the doctor there correspond 180 mutually test educational credits.
(5) Programs of the higher education on receipt of degree of the doctor are subdivided into two types:
