Article 1. The main terms and their determinations used in this Law

For the purposes of this Law the following main terms and their determinations are used:

refining of precious metals - process of purification of the extracted precious metals of impurity and the accompanying components, bringing precious metals to the quality corresponding to technical regulations, and (or) state standards of the Republic of Belarus, and (or) the specifications or international standards of quality accepted by the London association of the market of precious metals (LBMA) and participants of the London market of platinum and palladium (LPPM) if higher quality requirements are not established by Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus and (or) National Bank of the Republic of Belarus;

bank ingots - the ingots of the affined gold, silver, platinum and palladium corresponding to technical regulations, and (or) state standards of the Republic of Belarus, and (or) the specifications or international standards of quality accepted by the London association of the market of precious metals (LBMA) and participants of the London market of platinum and palladium (LPPM);
