RESOLUTION OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE

of March 2, 2014 No. 843-VII

About holding the closed plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

Considering acceptance by the Federation Council of Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on March 1, 2014 the decision on possibility of use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the territory of Ukraine and provoking of the power scenario of destabilization of situation in Ukraine, according to article 84 of the Constitution of Ukraine and Article 4 of Regulations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Hold on March 2, 2014 the closed plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on which to hear information:

acting minister of defense of Ukraine Tenyukh Igor Iosifovich;

Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine Nalyvaichenko Valentin Aleksandrovich;

Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Avakov Arsen Borisovich;

Chairman of the State Border Service of Ukraine Litvin Nikolay Mikhaylovich.

2. Discuss information of the officials specified in Item 1 of this Resolution, according to the procedure, established by Regulations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

3. This Resolution becomes effective from the moment of its acceptance.
