About modification and amendments in the Code of the Republic of Moldova about offenses No. 218-XVI of October 24, 2008

In the Code of the Republic of Moldova about offenses No. 218-XVI of October 24, 2008 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2009, Art. No. 3-6, 15), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes and addition:
1. Recognize Article 291-1 invalid.
2. Add the code with Articles 291-2 - 291-9 following contents:
"Article 291-2. Not identification of clients reporting units
(1) Non-use by reporting units of measures for identification of physical persons or legal entities and the vygodopriobretayushchy owner and/or non-use by reporting units of measures of the increased precaution, stipulated by the legislation about the prevention and anti-money laundering and terrorism financing,
attracts imposing of penalty on physical persons in the amount of 100 to 150 conventional units, on officials in the amount of 150 to 300 conventional units and on legal entities in the amount of 300 to 500 conventional units.
(2) Non-compliance by reporting units of requirements of the legislation on the prevention and anti-money laundering and financing of terrorism concerning abstention from opening of the bank account, from establishment of business relations, from implementation of transactions with physical persons or legal entities, concerning the termination of already available business relations in case of impossibility of identification of physical persons or legal entities, including the vygodopriobretayushchy owner, or in case of not authenticity or unauthenticity of the data obtained during their identification
attracts imposing of penalty on physical persons in the amount of 100 to 150 conventional units, on officials in the amount of 150 to 300 conventional units and on legal entities in the amount of 300 to 500 conventional units.
