Article 1. Subject of regulation of this Federal Law

This Federal Law governs the relations arising in connection with maintaining the state address register, implementation of operation of federal information address system, and also the relation on use of the data on addresses containing in the state address register.

Article 2. The basic concepts used in this Federal Law

For the purposes of this Federal Law the following basic concepts are used:

1) the address - the description of the location of object of addressing structured according to the principles of the organization of local self-government in the Russian Federation and including including the name of element of street road net and (or) the name of element of planning structure (if necessary) and also to identify the digital and (or) alphanumeric designation of object of addressing allowing it;

2) the state address register - the state information resource containing data on addresses;

3) object of addressing - the capital construction project, the parcel of land or other object provided by the list of objects of addressing established by the Government of the Russian Federation;

4) federal information address system - the federal state information system providing forming, maintaining and use of the state address register.
