About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About science and the state scientific and technical policy"

1. In Article 2:

- add with paragraphs the eleventh, twelfth and thirteenth the following content:

"-the model code of scientific ethics - the systematized set of rules and standards of behavior, beliefs and ethical principles of the organization of scientific and scientific and technical activities governing the public relations in the field of scientific research;

- scientific ethics - the standards of behavior established and recognized as the world scientific community and rules of moral of the scientist (researcher);

- scientific offense - actions unworthy the scientist, such as falsification of data, intentional misstatement of the truth, plagiarism, and also acquisition and sale of scientific research (theses, degree, final and academic year projects) for the purpose of their further public protection under own name.".

2. Add with Chapter Z (1) the following content:

"GLAVA Z(1). ETHICAL BASES OF SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES

Article 10 (1). Ethical principles of scientific activities

The ethical principles of scientific activities supported by the state in the course of scientific research are:

- constructive nature of criticism and discussions, respect for the opponent, research supervisor and job seeker of scientific degree;

- assessment of the validity of scientific approvals irrespective of age, sex, races, the authority and ranks of the scientist formulating them;
