About modification and amendments in the Executive code of the Republic of Moldova No. 443-XV of December 24, 2004

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Executive code of the Republic of Moldova No. 443-XV of December 24, 2004 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2010, Art. No. 214-220, 704), with subsequent changes to make the following changes and additions:

1. Part (Article 243 to state 1) in the following edition:

"(1) According to the procedure, established by this code and the Charter of serving sentence by convicts, the following measures of encouragement can be applied to the convict differing in law-abiding behavior, showing diligence in work or involved in actions of educational, cultural, therapeutic nature, for psychological consultation and the public assistance, school training and professional training:

a) early repayment of earlier imposed authority punishment;

b) announcement of gratitude;

c) permission of additional telephone conversations lasting up to 20 minutes;

d) provision of the right of receipt of additional content of sending, transfers and parcels post;

e) provision of additional short-term and long appointments.".

2. In Article 244:

part (to add 5) with the offer: "Early repayment of authority punishments is performed according to the procedure of their imposing.", and ", as a rule," to exclude words;

in part (the words "in Items c) and d)" shall be replaced with words 6) "in Items e) and f)".

3. State Article 246 in the following edition:

"Article 246. The authority punishments applied to convicts

(1) According to the procedure, established by this code and the Charter of serving sentence by convicts, the following authority punishments can be applied to the convict:

a) prevention;

b) suspension of the right of receipt of sending, transfers and parcels post, except for the things necessary for personal hygiene and medical care, for a period of up to two months;

c) suspension of the right to short-term and long appointments for a period of up to three months;
