About modification of some legal acts of Ukraine of rather single questions of judicial system and the status of judges

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to the following legal acts of Ukraine:

1. In the Law of Ukraine "About the Supreme council of justice" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1998, No. 25, Art. 146 with subsequent changes):

1) in Article 3:

  to exclude Item 1-1 of part one;

add with part two of the following content:

"The decision on the questions carried to competence of the Supreme council of justice are accepted in the presence of preliminary conclusions of the relevant committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine which are obligatory";

   Items 2-1 and 2-2 of part one of Article 27 to exclude 2);

   Articles 29-1 and 32-1 to exclude 3).

2. In the Regulations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved by the Law of Ukraine "About Regulations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2010, No. No. 14-17, of Art. 133 with subsequent changes):

The text of Article 214 to state 1) in the following edition:

"1. According to Item 85, to article 128 of the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "About judicial system and the status of judges" the Verkhovna Rada chooses 27 parts one of Article:

1) the professional judge it is termless which term of office on judgeship expired;

2) the judge person who already held earlier judgeship at least five years is termless, but for the period of consideration of question of election does not hold judgeship;

3) the judge of earlier chosen it is termless in court of other level or in court of the same level, but other specialization.

2. Idea of election of judges is termless is brought in the Verkhovna Rada by the Chairman of the Highest qualification commission of judges of Ukraine.
