About enhancement of system of republican state bodies

For the purpose of further enhancement of management system economy, according to requirements of the present stage of liberalization and reforming of all aspects of life of society, reducing powers of authority of government institutions, accurate differentiation of functions of the public and economic board, and also increase in efficiency of activities of state bodies of the republic:

1. Determine that the ministries, the state committees, committees, the agencies, and also structures of public administration formed in case of them and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan treat republican state bodies.

2. Consider the main objectives and functions of republican state bodies:

ensuring practical implementation of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Presidential decrees of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other regulatory legal acts, implementation of efficient control of their execution;

realization of foreign and domestic policy, ensuring external and internal security of the state;

determination of priorities of strategic development of the country, development and organization of implementation of the state target programs, implementation of measures for carrying out economic reforms;

providing and protection of constitutional rights and human freedoms, population rights to education, medical attendance, social security, regulation of the labor market, management and coordination of activities of nation-wide management system in the social sphere;

state regulation of activities of business entities through creation of the corresponding legal circle, licensing, certification and standardization;

implementation of fiscal functions by taxation, customs payments, distribution of state revenues.
