About introduction of amendments to the Law on the public social benefits to some categories of citizens No. 499-XIV of July 14, 1999

Art. I. - In the Law on the public social benefits to some categories of citizens No. 499-XIV of July 14, 1999 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1999, Art. No. 106-108, 512), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. Part (13) Article 6 to recognize invalid.

2. State Article 8 in the following edition:

"Article 8. Benefit size

The benefit size to persons with limited opportunities constitutes certain percent from the size of index-linked minimum pension for persons with the heavy, expressed and average limited opportunities established annually by the Government including:

a) to persons with the heavy, expressed and average limited opportunities - 30 percent;

b) to persons with the heavy, expressed and average limited opportunities since the childhood - 80 percent;

c) to children with the heavy, expressed and average limited opportunities aged to 18 years - 80 percent.".

3. Part (Article 10 to state 1) in the following edition:

"(1) the benefit Size to children on the occasion of loss of the supporter constitutes 15 percent of the size of index-linked minimum pension on age established annually by the Government on each child.".

4. State Article 13 in the following edition:

"Article 13. Benefit size

The benefit size to elderly persons constitutes 15 percent of the size of index-linked minimum pension on age established annually by the Government.".

5. Part (Article 15 to state 1) in the following edition:

"(1) the Size of attendance allowance, to maintenance and supervision constitutes 75 percent of the size of index-linked minimum pension on age established annually by the Government.".

6. State Article 18 in the following edition:

"Article 18. Size of benefit for burial

The size of benefit for burial in case of uninsured persons is equal to that for insured persons and is established annually in the law on the budget of the national social insurance for the corresponding year.".
