The government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic which further are referred to as with the Parties

being guided by the Agreement between Council of Ministers - the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic Kyrgyzstan about cooperation in development of the oil and gas industry of March 2, 1993,

wishing to promote development of long-term mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of transportation, distributions and realization of natural gas in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic,

agreed as follows:

Article 1. Terms and determinations

The concepts used in this agreement mean the following:

"property" - all types of property, including without limitation it, gas pipelines of high pressure, gas distribution stations, compressor stations, underground gas storages, wells, the parcels of land, buildings, constructions, the equipment, stock, raw materials, products and debts;

"the rights and interests" - the property and other rights having money value including without limitation it, rights to claim, and also the rights to the designations individualizing the company, its products, works and services (commercial designation, trademarks, service marks) and other exclusive rights;

"direct sale" - sale without the need for receipt of any approvals, soglasiya and permissions required by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, and also need of observance of the stipulated by the legislation requirements of the Kyrgyz Republic concerning the right of preferential purchase;

"IRR" (Internal rate of return) - internal return rate.

Article 2. Subject of the agreement

The parties provide long-term mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of transportation, distributions and realization of natural gas in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
