About modification and amendments in individual clauses of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Article 32, 78, 93, 98, 103 and 117)

These changes and additions in the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan are made for the purpose of further democratization of system of the power and management, ensuring step-by-step realization of the principle "from the strong state – to strong civil society", expansions of role of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan in system of public authorities, their rights and powers to realization of strategic tasks of domestic and foreign policy, strengthening of functions of the supreme legislative body, representative bodies of the power on control over activities of the Cabinet of Ministers and executive bodies, and also increases in responsibility of government, executive bodies on places for realization of tasks of social and economic development of the country.

Article 1. Bring in the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted on December 8, 1992 at the eleventh session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan of the twelfth convocation (Sheets of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1993, No. 1, Art. 4; 1994, No. 1, Art. 5; Sheets of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2003, No. 3-4, of Art. 27; Sheets of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2007, No. 4, Art. 162; 2008, No. 12, Art. 637; 2011, No. 4, Art. 100, No. 12/1, Art. 343), following changes and amendments:

1) in Article 32:

the second offer to state in the following edition:

"Such participation is performed by means of self-government, holding referenda and democratic forming of state bodies, and also development and enhancement of public control over activities of state bodies";

add with part two of the following content:

"The procedure of public control over activities of state bodies is determined by the law";
