The text of Article 1 to state 1) in the following edition:
"The Cabinet of Ministers – the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan – is executive body of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan (further - the Cabinet of Ministers):
1) bears responsibility for carrying out effective economic, social, financial, monetary policy, development and program implementation on development of science, culture, education, health care and other industries of economy and the social sphere;
2) performs measures for protection of economic, social and other rights and legitimate interests of citizens;
Coordinates 3) and directs work of bodies of the public and economic board, provides control of their activities in the procedure established by the law;
4) is provided by execution of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions of Oliy Majlis, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
5) represents to Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan annual reports on the most important questions of social and economic life of the country;
6) performs other powers provided by the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
