About modification and amendments in some legal acts

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on the status of the judge No. 544-XIII of July 20, 1995 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2013, Art. No. 15-17, 63), with subsequent changes to make the following changes and additions:

1. In Article 26:

part (to add 3) after the words "from calculation" with figures and the word "50 percent";

parts (4) and (to recognize 5) invalid.

2. 32, 32-1 and 32-2 to state Articles in the following edition:

"Article 32. Provision of pensions

(1) the Judge who reached age of 50 years and having working life at least 20 years from them at least 12 years and 6 months in judgeship, has pension entitlement for long service in the amount of 55 percent of the average monthly salary with addition of 3 percent for each complete year of work over 20 years, but in total no more than 80 percent of the average monthly salary. Pension of the judge is recalculated taking into account the size of the monthly salary of the effective judge.

(2) part Provisions (1) extend to the judges working in the international degrees of jurisdiction, at the same time the average monthly salary of the judge of the Highest trial chamber is assumed as a basis.

(3) the Long-service pension granted according to part (1), it is estimated and paid only to the judges who retired and the judges dismissed in connection with age achievement of limit.

(4) If the judge who retired is appointed to judgeship again, pension payment stops.

Article 32-1. The bodies performing appointment and pension payment

(1) Pensions are granted and paid by bodies of social insurance.

(2) Organa of social insurance has the right to exercise control of reliability of the documents confirming working life and the insured income, issued by authorized bodies.

Article 32-2. Source of financing of pensions

Expenses on pension payment are made as follows: 50 percent of the established pension size - from the budget of the national social insurance and 50 percent - from the government budget.".

3. Add Article 33 with part (3) the following content:
