About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About election of the president of Ukraine" concerning providing the proper organization and carrying out vote

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About election of the president of Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2004, No. 20-21, of Art. 291 with subsequent changes) the following changes:

Part the eighth Article 24 to add 1) with the paragraph the second the following content:

"In case of need, for ensuring with precinct election commissions proper preparation and elections, including to ballot day, district electoral commission can increase structure of the precinct election commission to eighteen persons on representation to the relevant district electoral commission based on proposals of members of this commission.";

Part the eighth Article 71 after words of "printing scrap" to add 2) with words of "repayment of unused ballots according to part twelve of article 73 of this Law";

Article 73 to add 3) with part twelve of the following content:

"12. In case of impossibility of transfer of ballots from Central Election Commission in district electoral commission the corresponding ballots are considered as unused and are settled by Central Election Commission by their transfer for destruction to manufacturer. Ballots are destroyed by manufacturer in the presence of representatives of the Central Election Commission and control commission formed by Central Election Commission according to part eight of article 71 of this Law about what the relevant statement is drawn up.
