About introduction of amendments to article 7 of the Law of Ukraine "About providing the rights and freedoms of citizens and legal regime in temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine" concerning right to education

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in article 7 of the Law of Ukraine "About providing the rights and freedoms of citizens and legal regime in temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine" the following changes:

1. State the name in the following edition:

"Article 7. Ensuring realization of the rights of the citizens living in the occupied territory or who moved from it on employment, provision of pensions, obligatory national social insurance, social services, education".

2. Add with part twelve of the following content:

"12. Citizens of Ukraine who live in temporarily occupied territory or moved from it have the right to continuation of receipt of certain educational level in the territory of other regions of Ukraine at the expense of means of the government budget. The procedure for financing of training of this category of citizens is established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The citizens specified in paragraph one of this part participate in competitive selection arriving on training in the state and utility higher educational institutions of Ukraine in generally established procedure with provision of places in hostels for the period of study. If by results of competitive selection the specified arriving were not included in the rating list arriving on places of the state order, the educational institution increases the number of places of the state order according to the procedure, determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine by financing of occasional seats of the state order of the citizens living in the occupied territory or who moved from it".

II. Final provisions

1. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.

2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in a month from the date of entry into force of this Law:

bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law;
