About the government budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2014

 Having considered the Budget message and the modifed draft of the Government budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan provided by the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2014, taking into account notes and proposals of deputies of Legislative house during its discussion, the Legislative house of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan decides:

1. Accept the Government budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the main directions of tax and budget policy for 2014 with limit of central government budget deficit in the amount of percent 1,0 to amount of gross domestic product.

2. To the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

take the necessary measures for ensuring further strengthening of macroeconomic stability and steady high growth rates of economy directed to increase in the income and level of living of the population;

provide program implementation on acceleration and expansion of scales of upgrade, technical and technological updating of productions, the advancing development of road and transport and engineering and communication infrastructure, and also development and strengthening of material and technical resources of the social sphere;

provide the accelerated development in the rural zone of social and production infrastructure, first of all, construction and reconstruction of networks and constructions for improvement of providing rural settlements with drinking water;

continue work on decrease in tax burden on the economy and to simplification of tax administration directed to support of activities of business entities;

optimize the interbudget relations for the purpose of increase in profitable base of regions and decrease in their dependence on subventions;
