According to Articles 143 and 145  of the Labor code of the Republic of Tajikistan and Article 51 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About regulatory legal acts" and for the purpose of strengthening of social security of workers, taking into account adverse physiographic, climatic and medical factors, life diskomfortnost conditions, for work in desert, anhydrous areas and in mountain areas, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan DECIDES:

1. For workers of all industries for work in mountain areas to approve the following coefficients it (is applied):

at the height from 2000 to 2300 m - 1,15;

at the height from 2300 to 2500 m - 1,18;

at the height from 2500 to 3000 m - 1,20;

at the height over 3000 m - 1,30.

2. Approve for workers of all industries for work in special natural climatic conditions the following sizes of district coefficients:

The Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region - 1,20;

the city of Rogun - 1,15;

the city of Nurek - 1,15.

In other regions of the republic to keep action of industry coefficients.

3. Since May 1, 2014 the salary from which the allowance on district coefficients, coefficients for work in desert, anhydrous areas and in mountain areas is charged (except the dekhot, settlements and villages located at the height over 3000 meters above sea level) to establish in the amount of two indicators for calculations.

4. In the territory of the dekhot, settlements and villages located at the height over 3000 meters above sea level to make charge of district coefficient, coefficient for work in mountain areas without restriction from the monthly salary of workers.
