About measures for improvement of financial position of some categories of the veterans of the Great Patriotic War living in the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Estonia
Paying tribute of deep respect to veterans of the Great Patriotic War and until the conclusion of the corresponding international treaties (agreements), I decide:
1. Establish since May 1, 2014 lifelong material security to the stateless persons consisting in citizenship of the USSR and living in the Republic of Latvia according to the passport of the alien issued by relevant organ of the Republic of Latvia, to the stateless persons consisting in citizenship of the USSR and living in the Republic of Estonia according to the passport of the foreigner issued by relevant organ of the Republic of Estonia and also the citizens of the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Estonia living in the territories of these states, being:
a) disabled people of the Great Patriotic War and participants of the Great Patriotic War from number:
the military personnel passing military service (including pupils of military units and ship's boys) or temporarily being in the military units, headquarters and organizations which were part of field army in the period of the Great Patriotic War or the period of other combat operations on protection of the Fatherland and also guerrillas and members of the underground organizations operating in the period of the Great Patriotic War in temporarily occupied territories of the USSR;
the military personnel, faces of the private and the commanding structure of the law-enforcement bodies and state security agencies serving during the period the Great Patriotic War in the cities, participation in which defense is set off in length of service for purpose of the pensions on favorable terms established for the military personnel of military units of field army;
