About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning activities of the Representative of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for human rights in the field of personal data protection

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to the following laws of Ukraine:

1. In the Law of Ukraine "About the Representative of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for human rights" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1998, No. 20, Art. 99; 2008, No. 25, Art. 240; 2013, No. 41, Art. 552):

1) in Article 2:

in part one to exclude the word "only";

add with part two of the following content:

"Operation of this Law also extends to the relations arising between legal entities of public and private law, and also the physical persons which are in the territory of Ukraine in the cases provided by the separate law";

Article 13 to add 2) with Item 14 of the following content:

"14) to perform other powers determined by the law".

2. In the Law of Ukraine "About personal data protection" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2010, No. 34, Art. 481; 2013, No. 51, Art. 715; 2014, No. 14, Art. 252):

The paragraph the fourth Article 2 to state 1) in the following edition:

"the consent of the subject of personal data - the voluntary declaration of will of physical person (on condition of its awareness) about provision of permission to processing of its personal data according to the formulated purpose of their processing stated in writing or in shape that allows to draw conclusion on consent provision";

Part the tenth Article 6 to state 2) in the following edition:

"10. The standard procedure for processing of personal data affirms the Representative".
