About standard (flag) of the President of Turkmenistan
This Law establishes the status of standard (flag) of the President of Turkmenistan as the symbol of the presidential power in Turkmenistan which united national traditions of ancestors of the Turkmen people great Oguz of the khan and Great seldzhukid, the symbolizing power of statehood and the power. Article 1. The standard (flag) of the President of Turkmenistan is symbol of the presidential power in Turkmenistan.
Article 2. The standard (flag) of the President of Turkmenistan represents rectangular panel of green color. The relation of width of standard (flag) to its length constitutes one to one and a half.
In the left upper corner of panel at staff the half moon and five five-pointed stars of white color which are reproduced on standard (flag) according to the description of National flag of Turkmenistan are represented.
In the right part of panel the octahedron of green color with golden border in which center five-domed eagle of golden-yellow color holding prostrate two-headed snake in paws is located is represented. Three heads of eagle are turned towards the left edge of standard (flag), and two - towards the right edge. Throughout tradition of national heraldry according to which on flag Oguz of the khan was represented the two-headed eagle who won snake on standard (flag) of the President of Turkmenistan five-domed eagle and prostrate two-headed snake is represented that symbolizes protection of the state against internal and external enemies. On green background of octahedron, framing around the image of five-domed eagle, the text "is located TURKMENISTANYN PREZIDENTI.
On staff of the original of standard (flag) the silver bracket on which the surname and name of the President of Turkmenistan are engraved fastens.
Article 3. The standard (colors) of the President of Turkmenistan is hoisted:
