Article 1. This Law governs the relations connected with the privileges on tax, customs and obligatory payments provided by the Agreement "About cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the United States of America on simplification of control of the humanitarian and technical and economic assistance" (further – the Agreement) signed on December 15th, 1992.

Article 2. The privileges established by this Law on tax, customs and obligatory payments mean that within aid programs of the United States of America (further – programs):

1) are exempted:

a) from the value added tax – import to the Republic of Armenia of goods, and also delivery of goods and rendering services (including it is non-paid or with partial compensation) in the Republic of Armenia the Government or the private organizations (further – the organizations) and the physical persons of the United States of America performing programs;

b) from customs duty and customs fee – the goods imported into the Republic of Armenia by the Government or the organizations and physical persons of the United States of America performing programs;

c) from the excise tax – the goods imported into the Republic of Armenia by the Government or the organizations and physical persons of the United States of America performing programs;

d) from the fixed payments levied by customs authorities according to the procedure, established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia, - the goods imported into the Republic of Armenia by the Government or the organizations and physical persons of the United States of America performing programs;
