Except as specified, provided by international treaties of the Azerbaijan Republic or settled according to Item 32 of article 109 of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, in the presence of double citizenship (with nationality of other state (states) along with citizenship of the Azerbaijan Republic) at person who is the citizen of the Azerbaijan Republic, belonging of this person to nationality of foreign state is not recognized.
The citizen of the Azerbaijan Republic who was naturalized foreign state shall notify in writing on it relevant organ of the executive authority within one month. Persons which did not provide such information bear responsibility according to the procedure, provided by the Criminal code of the Azerbaijan Republic.".
