About modification and amendments in some legal acts

 The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. – In the Pensions act of the national social insurance No. 156-XIV of October 14, 1998 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2004, Art. No. 42-44, 247), with subsequent changes to make the following changes and additions:

1. Part (Article 5 to add 2) with the Item a 1) of the following content:

"a-1) the stay period on military service under the contract or the service equated to it – in case of impossibility of award of pension according to the Law on provision of pensions of the military personnel and persons of the commanding and ordinary structure of law-enforcement bodies No. 1544-XII of June 23, 1993;".

2. In Article 8:

"(3) On the periods specified in Items and) and part a-1) (2) Articles 5, as basis for calculation of the size of pension since January 1, 1999 for the urgent or reduced military service serves the minimum wage over the country on the date of calculation of pension, and for military service under the contract or the service equated to it – the average monthly salary over the country on the date of calculation of pension. "(9) the Expenses connected with inclusion in insurance years of service of the periods specified in Items and) and part a-1) (2) Articles 5, become covered at the expense of means of the government budget.".
