About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About legal status of foreigners and stateless persons" concerning the bases for stay of foreigners and stateless persons in the territory of Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About legal status of foreigners and stateless persons" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2012, Art. No. 19-20, 179) the following changes:

1. In Item the word "use" to replace 5 parts one of Article 1 with the word "application".

2. Part the tenth articles 4 after words "special programs" to add with the words "athletes who acquired the professional status".

3. In Article 5:

"4. The basis for issue of the residence permit in the case provided by part four of article 4 of this Law, the statement of the foreigner or stateless person, the effective policy of medical insurance, permission to application of work of foreigners and persons without citizenship (except foreigners and stateless persons which according to the legislation of Ukraine have the right to employment without receipt of such permission) and employer obligations to report the central executive bodies, providing realization of state policy in spheres of migration, employment of the population and labor migration about early termination or the termination of the employment contract (contract) with such foreigner or the person without citizenship.

For foreigners and stateless persons which employment according to the legislation of Ukraine is performed without the permission on application of work of foreigners and stateless persons instead of such permission the employment contract (contract), and for persons who have the status of the foreign Ukrainian, - the employment contract (contract) and the certificate of the foreign Ukrainian moves";
