based on provisions of the Agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs affairs signed within the CIS on April 15, 1994

for the purpose of strengthening of fight against smuggling and customs offenses,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will take all necessary measures provided by interstate agreements, the legislation of both states and directed to the prevention of illegal import, export and transit of vehicles, loads, baggage, mailings, currencies, other means of payment and currency values in order to avoid possible damage to economic and other interests of the State Parties of this agreement.

Article 2

The parties according to the legislation and rules existing in their states will hold joint events for the purpose of prevention, suppression and investigation of smuggling and customs offenses.

Article 3

The parties will exchange:

a) information on the existing customs legislation;

b) information on methods and methods of fight against smuggling and customs offenses, and also other data which can promote prevention, suppression and investigation of smuggling and customs offenses;

c) publications, scientific, professional and studies concerning fight against smuggling and customs offenses.

Article 4

Information provided by the Parties as in oral, and will be considered in writing as confidential and to be used only for the purpose of accomplishment of this agreement.

The parties do not represent to other departments and mass media of the data, received according to this Agreement, without the consent of other Party.
