About abolition of the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation

For the purpose of further enhancement of system of public administration I decide:

1. Abolish the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation.

2. Transfer functions of the abolished Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation:

a) on development and realization of state policy and normative legal regulation in the field of social and economic development of subjects of the Russian Federation and municipalities, the region of the Far North and the Arctic, implementation of frontier and interregional cooperation, territorial planning, development and implementation of complex projects of social and economic development of federal districts, coordination of selection and implementation of priority investment projects of federal districts, and also on provision of the state support at the expense of means of the Investment fund of the Russian Federation - to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation;

b) on development and realization of state policy and normative legal regulation in the field of rendering the state support to subjects of the Russian Federation and to municipalities within budgetary appropriations of the federal budget - to the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation;

c) on development and realization of state policy and normative legal regulation in the field of town-planning zoning - to the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation;

d) on development and realization of the state national policy and normative legal regulation in the field of protection of the rights of ethnic minorities and indigenous ethnic groups of the Russian Federation, realization of ethnocultural needs of the citizens belonging to different ethnic communities and also on ensuring effective use by subjects of the Russian Federation and municipalities of the means of the state support provided on ethnocultural development of the people of the Russian Federation - to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation;
