About modification of article 7 of the Law of Ukraine "About the state awards of Ukraine"

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine "About the state awards of Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2000, No. 21, Art. 162; 2003, No. 24, Art. 157; 2006, No. 26, Art. 215; 2008, No. 24, Art. 231, No. 42-43, Art. 293; 2009, No. 32-33, of Art. 485; 2014, 25, the Art. 890) after the paragraph of the fifth to add No. with the new paragraph of the following content:

"Award of Heroes of People killed during Euromaidan - for rewarding of persons for the civic courage, patriotism, upholding of the constitutional principles of democracy, human rights and freedoms, vigorous charitable, humanistic, public work in Ukraine, dedicated service to the Ukrainian people found during the advantage Revolution (November, 2013 - February, 2014), other events connected with protection of independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine".

With respect thereto paragraphs of the sixth - to consider the ninth respectively paragraphs the seventh - the tenth.

II. Final provisions

1. This Law becomes effective from the date of its publication.

2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine:

To form 1) in two weeks from the date of entry into force of this Law the commission on carrying out All-Ukrainian tender on the best sketch of sign of award of Heroes of People killed during Euromaidan, attracting in its structure, in particular, representatives of public associations, public activists - participants of Revolution of advantage (November, 2013 - February, 2014), prize case specialists and to approve conditions of carrying out All-Ukrainian tender on the best sketch of sign of award of Heroes of People killed during Euromaidan;

2) to provide carrying out All-Ukrainian tender on the best sketch of sign of award of Heroes of People killed during Euromaidan and by its results to prepare and introduce till August 1, 2014 in accordance with the established procedure on approval to the President of Ukraine the draft of the Charter of award of Heroes of People killed during Euromaidan;
