recognizing importance of joint efforts of fight in the field of quarantine of plants,

proceeding from interests of mutual protection of the countries from drift on their territory of especially dangerous wreckers, diseases of plants and weeds (further the referred to as quarantine objects), in case of development of commercial intercourses and implementation of contracts between business entities of the states of the Parties,

being guided by desire to continue and expand cooperation in the field of quarantine of plants and to provide coordination of the governmental quarantine activities,

agreed as follows:

Article 1.

For the purpose of development and cooperation increase in the field of quarantine of plants of the Party shall:

- take necessary measures for prevention of penetration of quarantine objects from the territory of the state of one Party on the territory of the state of other Party when importing, exporting and transit of quarantine materials;

- communicate in writing about emergence, distribution of quarantine objects in the territory of the states of the Parties and about methods of fight against them;

- inform on amendments and changes of the existing phytosanitary rules regulating import, export and transit of quarantine materials;

- give mutual scientific, technical and advisory aid in holding actions for identification, localization and liquidation of quarantine objects;

- analyze problems and study achievements in the field of quarantine of plants, to quickly resolve issues on quarantine of plants on border check-points,

- organize mutual cooperation of specialists of the Parties in implementation of quarantine check of the quarantine materials delivered on the territory of the state of one of the Parties in places of their production;
