Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Belarus of November 26, 1992 "About environmental protection" in edition of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 17, 2002 (Vyarkho¸naga Savet's Vedamastsi of Respubliki Belarus, 1993, No. 1, Art. 1; National register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2002, No. 85, 2/875; National legal Internet portal of the Republic of Belarus, 25.01.2013, 2/2016) following changes:
1. State Article 55 in the following edition:
"Article 55. Protection of ozone layer
For the purpose of protection of life and health of the person, the environment against the adverse effects caused by destruction of ozone layer as a result of impact of ozone-depleting substances protection of ozone layer is performed.
Protection of ozone layer is provided in the way:
developments and implementation of the state, territorial and industry programs on protection of ozone layer;
reducings amounts of consumption of ozone-depleting substances and reducing (termination) their use according to international treaties of the Republic of Belarus;
introductions of restrictions and prohibitions in case of the treatment of ozone-depleting substances, prohibition of production of ozone-depleting substances;
establishments of requirements in the field of protection of ozone layer when implementing economic and other activity;
economic incentives in the field of protection of ozone layer;
permanent carrying out monitoring of ozone layer;
control of protection of ozone layer;
applications of measures of responsibility for violation of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus on protection of ozone layer;
implementation of other measures according to the legislation of the Republic of Belarus on protection of ozone layer and other legislation of the Republic of Belarus.".
