wishing to promote realization of human rights on the environment, favorable for life,

expressing confidence that the cooperation in the solution of common problems of environmental protection in each of the countries answers their mutual advantage,

wishing farther to help by this cooperation to international efforts on protection, improvement of the environment and rational environmental management as bases of sustainable development at the global and regional levels,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties develop cooperation in the field of environmental protection and environmental management on the basis of equality, mutual advantage within national legal systems of both states and financial resources allocated for these purposes.

Article 2

The parties perform cooperation in the following areas:

a) normative legal regulation of environmental protection and environmental management;

b) methods, means and devices of control of environmental pollution;

c) economic mechanism of environmental management;

d) reserved case and preserving biological diversity, including, in border zone; protection and rational use of bioresources;

e) protection of soils and rational use of land resources;

e) protection of subsoil and rational use of mineral resources;

g) liquidation and neutralization of waste of the mining companies;

h) protection of the air basin;
