convinced that such cooperation is equitable to radical interests of the people of both states, will promote expansion and strengthening of interstate bonds, approval of universal values, enrichment of cultures of two countries, agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will promote creating favorable conditions for preserving and development of traditional cultural ties, exchange and cooperation in the fields of theatrical, musical, fine, variety and circus art, cinema, television and broadcasting, library and museum science, protection, restoration and use of historical and cultural monuments, amateur folk art, national crafts and other types of cultural activities.

Article 2

The parties will encourage cooperation and direct contacts between the relevant ministries, departments of both countries, and also through public organizations, the creative unions, associations, funds.

Article 3

The parties will provide to citizens of other state broad access to cultural property of the people of the country and, in particular, to historically developed collections of cultural values which integrity they confirm.

Article 4

The parties will promote development of bilateral cultural cooperation on mutually advantageous basis.
