About modification and amendments in some legal acts
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. – In the Law on functioning of languages in the territory of the Republic of Moldova No. 3465-XI of September 1, 1989 (Sheet of the Supreme Council and Government of the Moldavian SSR, 1989, No. 9, of the Art. 217), with subsequent changes, to make the following change and addition:
1. Add the law with Article 29-1 of the following content:
"Article 29-1.
Check of language correctness of texts of outdoor advertizing, names of goods and products, information on labels of the certified goods, instructions to the goods made in the Republic of Moldova is obligatory and is performed by public body, competent of area of languages (terminology), – the National terminological center.".
2. State Article 32 in the following edition:
"Article 32.
Control of compliance with law about functioning of languages in the territory of the Republic of Moldova is exercised by the National terminological center, and also bodies of the central and local public authority. The national terminological center develops the standard forms, samples and other standard forms of advertizing recommended for use from the point of view of language correctness.".
Art. II. – Part (7) article 9 of the Law on state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs No. 220-XVI of October 19, 2007 (2007, 711), with subsequent changes, to state the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova to Art. No. 184-187, in the following edition:
"(7) Before registration of the legal entity the body of state registration checks the name regarding applicability and distinctive capability, and the National terminological center – the public body, competent of area of languages (terminology), – checks language correctness of the name. The costs connected with check are assigned to the applicant.".
