wishing to develop bilateral ties, are convinced that establishment of exchanges, cooperation and contacts between athletes in different forms will provide big contribution to friendship between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Ukraine, decided to sign this Agreement,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties on mutual basis promote development of friendly bonds between athletes of two states, in particular by the organization of meetings, exchanges and deepening of cooperation in the field of physical culture and sport.

The parties keep different shape of direct contacts between sports federations, associations and clubs of two countries, in particular:

1. In the field of physical culture:

- work experience exchange, scientific and methodical and information materials on sports and improving and mass work with the population;

- exchange of pedagogical personnel on sports and sports work, the organization of practice, study, retraining of specialists in the field of physical culture and sport;

- cooperation in development of national sports, holding sports festivals;

- experience exchange of sports work with disabled people, holding general competitions on swimming, chess, weightlifting, races on wheelchairs and other sports.

2. In the field of sport:

- exchange between clubs and federations, sports delegations, teams, certain athletes, holding bilateral and multilateral sports competitions, educational training camps and competitions, sports summer centers;

- the organization of mutual meetings and seminars for sports science, and also dated for the problem resolution of fight against the separate phenomena in sport (anti-doping control, fight against the use by athletes of anabolic medicines and other questions);

- experience exchange of work on sport economy questions, including development of paid services, cooperative, individual and other activities on sports constructions and in the organizations.
