in view of traditions of cultural communication and friendship of the people of both states,
being convinced that bonds in the field of culture and art are equitable to radical interests of the people of both countries and will promote further development of the relations of friendship and mutual cooperation,
in view of interests of citizens of both states living in the territories of the states of Contracting Parties
agreed as follows:
Contracting parties, relying on cultural ties of the people of Uzbekistan and Lithuania, will and promote development of cooperation between them in the field of culture and art from now on.
Each Contracting Party will provide to citizens of the states broad access to achievements of culture of the state of other Contracting Party.
Contracting parties will promote establishment and expansion of direct cooperation and direct connections between public institutions, to experience exchange between the interested organizations.
Contracting parties will promote on the basis of bilateral programs and projects of cultural cooperation to exchange of professional and amateur art collectives, groups, ensembles, certain contractors.
Contracting parties will stimulate the invitation to each other of artists, on-stage performance groups for participation in musical, theatrical, song and folklore tenders, festivals.
